ENCH - Chemical Engineering

Description

Current challenges in tissue engineering. Focus on specific tissues. Course topics include a brief biology review, cell fate processes, stem cells, tissue microenvironments and mass transfer, biomaterials, bioreactors, and clinical delivery of tissue engineered constructs.

Prerequisite(s): Consent of the Department.

Notes: Credit for both Chemical Engineering 659 and Biomedical Engineering 619.06 will not be allowed.

Courses may consist of a Lecture, Lab, Tutorial, and/or Seminar. Students will be required to register in each component that is required for the course as indicated in the schedule of classes.
